Let me start by saying, I NEVER review skincare products, because as someone who has had problematic, acne-prone skin since middle school on and off (newly 25 and started dealing with extreme breakouts over the last year) I am easily influenced when I read flawless reviews on skin products, and easily fall into the trap of buying new things then regretting it. BUT, I could not keep quiet about my thoughts on Osea’s blemish solutions line. Let me start by saying, I purchased the trial pack at the end of June, which was shortly after I started seeing an esthetician who came highly rated to me. I had a VI peel, it worked alright, but I ended up spending hundreds of dollars with this esthetician on the peel and products she said she swore by. After the peel, my skin had a TERRIBLE reaction to her products. I reached out to her everyday for weeks straight asking if the burning sensation on my skin and redness was normal, which she always just said yes and I took her word for it. After awhile I was so fed up, I was crying over my skin almost every day, I could not take the burning anymore, and my skin just felt awful. I have tried Osea’s ocean cleanser before and loved it, and saw an ad pop up for the mudd cleanser so I did some more research on their site. I saw some negative reviews about the change in blemish balm recipe, but I took my chances and actually felt good about it. I've been using this balm for years, and think of it as critical to my acne recovery. I'm so disappointed that it's been reformulated. For me, the new formula smells much worse than the original, and may have contributed to new break outs. </3

For those wondering: I've switched to the Atmosphere Protection Cream instead as my daily and nightly base. Using for two weeks and so far so good.

The mudd product was sold as part of the resolution to frequent breakouts. My breakouts are no longer but only during extreme chocolate fits and even then its less breakout.
