I LOVED ESSENTIAL HYDRATING OIL! I used it every night after Anti-Aging and looked forward to the arrival of my recent shipment. However, sadly, both the scent and texture (viscosity?) have changed. My early bottles of Essential Hydrating Oil had a subtle herbal scent, slightly reminiscent of the subtle scent of WitchHazel. No only is the current product thicker/heavier, it has a chemical aroma. Both my skin and nose agree: sadly, this is not the essential hydrating oil I loved.

I was in our local Ulta and this caught my attention. After testing it I decide I couldn’t resist the smell and the way it immediately made my arms and hands feel moisturized. The smell reminds me of a spa and is so relaxing to apply before bed. I also think it makes my feet feel really soft. I am anxious to see what the results are in a couple of weeks.

If it wasn’t so good I would have tried to return it. The smell is really bad, it lingers, so when you put it on your face it’s absolutely unavoidable. I’ve used some medical creams that don’t smell great but man this takes the cake. Not sure I’m going to reorder when it runs out because of that, which is a shame, but it kind of puts a damper on your whole nighttime relaxing routine to put something on your face that smells like this. I honestly thought I got a bad batch until I read the other reviews.

I love it. I like to use it at night since it is a bit heavier than regular lotion. My skin is somewhat dry and it moisturizes it well. I have sensitive skin and have no problems using it.

I love the moisturizer however it smells like cooter. I’m not sure I can continue to use it due to that. I can see from reviews it doesn’t hit everyone this way but wow. It was super gross to me.
